During the war between Russia and Ukraine, global companies massively boycott the occupier's business and leave the Russian market. For some, this is a matter of image, others cannot work corny because of the sanctions.
Many companies still do business in Russia. Among them there are several hundred hotels providing accommodation services: from well-known hotel chains to mini-villas.
Radisson Hotel Group, one of the world leaders in the hotel business, has no plans to stop its work in Russia yet. This was reported to a REGNUM correspondent in the Russian branch.

After the outbreak of the war (February 24, 2022), global hotel chains began to leave the Russian market. But on March 10, Radisson Hotels announced that it was staying in Russia and would continue to work.

Despite the large-scale sanctions of the European Union and the United States against Russia, most major hotel brands intend to continue working in the country. This became known during a closed meeting of the Federal Tourism Agency with representatives of the hotel business.

Thus, the management of Accor Hotels decided to continue to manage facilities in the Russian region. The holding hotels Mercure, Novotel, Ibis, Movenpick, Rixos operate in more than 25 cities across the country.
Despite calling the war in Ukraine a "tragedy", Accor CEO Sebastian Bazin said the company has no plans to leave Russia, noting that it has never stopped operations in war-torn countries.
